This site is about our personal path to parenthood through adoption. We successfully adopted a beautiful baby boy in December 2011 in Florida. The birthparents chose us in July 2011, after looking at profiles of various prospective adoptive families. We welcome conversation in person, by phone, or by email.

Time is speeding up
Our blithe “We wish there were actual news” from earlier today has been met with a change in the C-section date to next week! Apparently 9 pounds is big enough to join the world. We’re excited!
