Slices of a week

On Monday morning, David sat down and patted the floor in front of him where he wanted me to sit, exactly as we have been doing for showing him where we want him to sit.

On Tuesday morning, I showed David how to blow at bubbles to make them move. He loved blowing at the bubbles. Tuesday evening he started blowing on his food.

On Wednesday morning, David got up a bit early and decided he wanted a 2-hour nap in the late morning. Then he took a 2-hour nap in the late afternoon as well.

On Thursday morning, we took David to a local farm with some friends. He thought the goats were fascinating. And the free-roaming turkeys. And the tractors. And the UPS truck.

On Thursday afternoon, he started tracking the low-flying planes overhead while we were in the playground.

This morning at the end of playgroup, I got David’s shoes and put them on him. He then went and got my shoes and brought them to me.

This evening, he ate much of his dinner on the stairs.

And all week he has been doing the new happy dance he invented.
