David’s been taking steps for months now: cruising, pushing around the walls of Shangri-La, using the dog food container in the kitchen as his first real walker, holding onto our fingers, lurching to nearby destinations. Every day a little braver, every day a new experiment, every day a little closer to his first steps on his own.
Today was the day. Steps in open space, not holding onto anything.
Our son walked on his own today. We are proud of you, David.
