We’ll both be home together for the first three months when the baby arrives, during which M will work a limited number of hours and L will only drop by her workplace once or twice to let coworkers meet the baby. Then we’ll return to work, coordinating our schedules with some additional child care arrangements. M’s work schedule is extremely flexible (and he works at home), which is a huge help given our lack of specific planning.
Even though we don’t yet know what our work schedules will look like in the spring, we do have our first vacation scheduled for next spring. Baby’s first national park!
